Position Overview:

Aquila Corporation is currently seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, particularly in structural modeling and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and drafting structural components for a variety of projects. Experience in facilities management and utilities verticals is highly preferred, as this role involves developing solutions that impact these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to create structural designs and models for construction projects.

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to produce detailed structural drawings and documentation.

  • Develop and maintain CAD/BIM libraries, standards, and templates.

  • Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

  • Conduct quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain accuracy.

  • Assist in generating bills of materials and quantities for project cost estimates.

  • Work on projects related to facilities management and utilities verticals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural CAD/BIM Designer.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for structural drafting.

  • Experience with structural modeling and detailing.

  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

  • Preferred experience in facilities management and utilities verticals.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and codes.
