Position Overview:
Aquila Corporation is currently seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, particularly in structural modeling and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and drafting structural components for a variety of projects. Experience in facilities management and utilities verticals is highly preferred, as this role involves developing solutions that impact these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the engineering team to create structural designs and models for construction projects.
Utilize AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to produce detailed structural drawings and documentation.
Develop and maintain CAD/BIM libraries, standards, and templates.
Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain accuracy.
Assist in generating bills of materials and quantities for project cost estimates.
Work on projects related to facilities management and utilities verticals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural CAD/BIM Designer.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for structural drafting.
Experience with structural modeling and detailing.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
Preferred experience in facilities management and utilities verticals.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and codes.
