Position Overview:

Aquila Corporation is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Technician Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in geodetic survey techniques, ground control points collection, and land measurement. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of national standards governing geodetic survey methodologies such as triangulation, trilateration, and traversing to accurately measure and comprehend Earth's surface features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ground control points collection to support surveying and mapping projects.

  • Perform precise land measurements and boundary surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.

  • Utilize geodetic survey methods, including triangulation, trilateration, and traversing, to determine and analyze Earth's surface features.

  • Ensure compliance with national standards and regulations in geodetic surveying.

  • Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment to guarantee accuracy.

  • Process and analyze survey data using specialized software to generate maps and reports.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surveyors, engineers, and geospatial professionals to deliver high-quality survey results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technician Surveyor.

  • Proficiency in the collection of ground control points and land measurement techniques.

  • Strong understanding of national standards governing geodetic survey methodologies.

  • Knowledge of advanced surveying equipment and software.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in surveying work.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Professional licensure: California or Nevada or Arizona or Kansas
