All Source Analyses

Aquila Processing Team is a popular software solution for photogrammetry and drone mapping, and it can process various types of imagery, including FLIR thermal imagery, to generate 2D maps, 3D models, and more. The types of imagery that Aquila Processing Team is able to process include:

  • Aerial Imagery: Aquila Processing Team can process images captured from drones, fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, or other aerial platforms. These images are typically used for generating orthomosaics and 3D models.

  • Satellite Imagery: While Aquila Processing Team primarily focuses on aerial imagery, it can also process some satellite imagery, particularly high-resolution satellite images.

  • Terrestrial Imagery: This includes images captured from the ground using handheld cameras or terrestrial laser scanners. These images are used for generating point clouds and 3D models of objects and structures.

  • RGB Imagery: Aquila Processing Team can process standard RGB (Red, Green, Blue) images, which are commonly used for creating orthomosaics, digital surface models (DSMs), and 3D models.

  • Multispectral Imagery: Multispectral imagery captures data in multiple spectral bands, which can be used for applications such as agriculture and environmental monitoring. Aquila Processing Team can process these images to create specialized maps and indices.

  • Thermal Imagery (Including FLIR): Aquila Processing Team can process thermal images, including those captured with FLIR cameras, to generate thermal maps and perform temperature analysis. This is often used in applications like building inspections, search and rescue, and agriculture.

  • LiDAR Data: While Aquila Processing Team is primarily a photogrammetry software, it also has some capabilities for processing LiDAR data, which is used for generating highly accurate point clouds and 3D models.

  • Hyperspectral Imagery: Hyperspectral imagery captures data in many narrow, contiguous spectral bands. Aquila Processing Team can process this data for applications in agriculture, mineral exploration, and environmental science.

  • Oblique Imagery: Aquila Processing Team can process oblique imagery, which is captured at an angle to the target. This type of imagery is useful for 3D modeling and visual inspections of structures and objects.

  • 360-Degree Imagery: Aquila Processing Team can process 360-degree images, which are typically captured with specialized cameras and are used for creating immersive visual experiences and virtual tours.

  • UAV Payload Data: In addition to imagery, Aquila Processing Team can process data from various sensors and payloads attached to UAVs, such as LiDAR sensors, thermal cameras, and multispectral sensors.

  • Mobile Mapping Imagery: Aquila Processing Team can process images collected using mobile mapping systems, which are often mounted on vehicles and used for applications like road and infrastructure mapping.

Geospatial Aquila
